Computer problems
Hello once again. You might have noticed that there was no post yesterday. This was due to computer problems. My computer just spontaneously stopped working. I had no other computer to work from, so I couldn't make a blog entry. Yesterday was fun. It was the last day of Minecon and the staff was starting to give everything away. Thogh I didn't get anything (my typical luck). Even the lottery where about twenty or thirty people were picked. Though there were 5000 people there only at Minecon. Though I did buy a collectible "creeper vinyl" that only 500 of them had been made. There on the last day me and my friends I'd met there went to a modding presentation and got to hear some very famous mmodders talk about coding: landscape generator, spwan rate, mob coding e.t.c. I was having fun listening to the presentation though my friends didn't understand a word and dragged me out of the most interesting part. They dragged me all the way to a presentation on how to animate minecraft films. That's were I nearly fell asleep, so we left to go to the closing ceremony. My friends disappeared and I met dad and my mom's friend's son Trent. I quickly learned that he was scared of the camera and was generally shy. Together with my dad and Trent and his parents, we watched the closing ceremony and then me and dad went to go eat some food. I met my friends to go eat. Apparently Hector had been sitting in the front row and my other friend had missed the show. After I'd eaten we went to my second friend's room. His name is Zacharay. We had a pillow fight then we cleande up and I had to go to bed. Today we left early to get to the airport and I am sitting at a lounge at the airport waiting for the flight. The flight starts at 21:00 Swedish time or 9:00 PM U.S, Califonia, L.A. To sum it all up. I've been in Nevada, California and Arizona this week, I've been to the Hoover Dam, I've been to a casino, Death Valley and Minecon.
Minecon
Hello again! Today I went to the first day of MineCon. It was really exciting to see so many people. The day started off by me and my dad going to the register desk where we got a name tag and a Minecon bag. Igot lots of stuff in the bag for example foldable minecraft characters and blocks and a scavenger hunt card just to name a few. The had lots of "booths" with different company advertising minecraft in some kind of way. Me and Hector got in line for a store made by a company called Jinx who are sponsoring Minecon. Later Me and Hector went and played the official Minecraft 1.0.0 on computers put there. They also had a HUGE screen that randomly picked a computer screen that had been put there, so my player was shown on the big screen while I was showing off all of the new blocks and items. After playing the game we went to a "panel" (a presentation) about minecraft servers though we already knew all the answers to what people were asking so we left and got minecraft 1.0.0 to our own laptops and started playing. That's what were doing now too! Minecraft 1.0.0 is really fun except that the implemented an end to the game. Well, that's all.
Another exciting day
Hello there. Today me and my dad got up at 5:00 AM to go to Death Valley. It was really hot. we found tons of random holes in the ground. But the most fascinating of all - for me - was that there were lava-rocks and rocks containing iron. I brought a sample of both kinds. After we had been in Death Valley, we nearly drove to Las Vegas but we turned off on to another street and headed for the Hoover Dam. The Hoover Dam is gigantic and has tons of guards incase of a terrorist attack. The guards aren't always serious though; one of the guards quietly walked up behind me while dad was taking photos of me and made bunny ears behind my head. Later, we drove to Las Vegas and got to the hotel: Mandalay Bay resort and THEhotel. I met my friend Hector and we played some Minecraft and he gave me his "Mod Pack". Today has been really fun.
Flight, Book store and Morning Jog
Hello once more! Yesterday me and my dad flew to the U.S.A! Time was a thing they had a lot of in the U.S and a scarce amount of in England. We flew from Sweden to London, England, and from there to Los Angeles! Later that day day me and my dad went to "Barnes and Nobel" and I got the book "Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy" and "Bunny Suicides". A bit later we fell asleep. You might be wondering: Why stay in Los Angeles? Well, today we got up for a morning jog - something we won't be able to do in Las Vegas - and then went to Hollywood! I got to see the street of fame and tons of famous names in stars on the ground. After that we went and saw the text "Hollywood" on the mountain. After all this we went to the main event of the day, Universal Studios! We went there and got to see where and how people made all the films, We even passed by some people who were sooting a movie, so we were kindly asked to be quiet when we passed them. Also today I heard that my old daycare friend Hector is coming to MineCon too! Me and my dad will meet them tomorrow too! Now I'm at the hotel with some newly bought things and dad is out buying some things. Today I also learned the fully correct position of skydiving at Universal Studios and I got a diploma for it!
Last Day In Sweden
Oh well. Here I am, on the last real day in Sweden in school for a week. Staring at the time, waiting for school to end. I can't wait to go to Las Vegas! Thogh time is passing quickly, It is still somehow passing quite slowly. Minute by minute. My dad said that I should wake up at 03:00 Swedish time. The plane leaves at 07:00 Swedish time. The plane will change somewhere - I don't know where -, we will change plane there, then we will fly to Los Angeles and drive to Las Vegas! It sounds like a logn trip, so I should probably try to fall asleep early tonight.
Thank you mom
Hello. I just wanted to thank my momfor arranging thiss long trip to Las Vegas. It must have cost you a lot. I'm really happy you bought those tickets to MineCon, and not because I get to skip school but because I get to explore a new country and go to something that I'm sure not a lot of other children would get to go to. Thank you again.
My expectations for Las Vegas nr. 2
I guess I will see lots of coders/ modders and probably the "Yogscast" too. The Yogscast are three people who make hillarious minecraft videos and mod reviews. The tickets sold out quite quickly which means it will probably be lots of fun, because who will buy something If they think it'll be boring. I expect people to be selling things from minecraft at MineCon too. If they aren't going to sell anything at MineCon, then what should I do with the $75 dad gave me? That question was kind of obvious... If they don't sell minecraft stuff at MineCon then I will buy tons of "Reeses Peanut Butter Cups"!
Calling All Modders for Minecraft!
Hello, Today I just wanted to give you a link to an awesome youtube video made by a cool modder. His name is Perry. He makes tutorials on modding:

Expectations for Las Vegas
Hello, I'm back! I finally got around to writing something on the blog (after my parents told me to about a hundred times). Man I'm used to the second bracket automatically appearing! I guess I'm doing to much coding. Anyways, I am supposed to write about my expectations for my trip to Las Vegas next week. I'm going to a convention called "MineCon". Man, I'm used to the second quotations mark appearing as well! Ok. Well, I have read the MineCon homepage (minecon.mojang.com) and read that MineCon will "blow away all your expectations". Sounds like I will have lots of fun. The creator of the game "Minecraft" -the game that the convention was made for- is called Markus Persson and is Swedish like me. I have passed the company Mojang -Markus Perssons general work area for the games he and his gang make- tons of times. It is in Stockholm, Sweden, Söder on Åsögatan 51 or something. I expect MineCon to be really fun and exciting. They will be signing autographs apparently and I will get one for my friend Harvey who REALLY wanted one. I will be leaving on the following date: September 15 2011. By the way, today is the 11-11-2011! So at 11:11 am we were suppesd to do something strange -don't ask me why- but I just stood up and looked at while Kasper danced. We weren't supposed to dance. Nicole and Pernilla -two girls from my class- started shouting to Kasper that he would have a bad year since he didn't do what was expected of him to do. I guess that means I will also have an unlucky year too. NOT! I dont' believe it those tall tales! Well, maybe I might make another input In Las Vegas but for now, bye!
This is a laser
Yipee
This is sooo great! I'm going to this sailing camp in Rastaholm (try searching for "Rastaholm" on hitta.se) but the week before that, I am going to a basketball camp. Apparently SSS (Stockholms Segel Sälskap) runs it! Hi, hi, hi, hi, funny name! I'm going to sleep over there all week. I'm going to sail in the beginner group even though I know perfectly well how to sail, but I wouldn't want to sail with a laser until I know how to sail a bit better. At nine I will get a godnatt saga and at TEN I will go to sleep! Hopefully I won't capsize like I did last year at Sjöhistoriska muséet's sailing camp. :-D
Awesome book tips
The 39 clues is an interesting book series about two kids called Amy and Dan Cahill that have no parents (they died in a fire apparently). Amy and Dan travel round the world with their au pair Nellie Cahill to find clues to a recipe to become the world's best Cahill (the Cahill family is a big set of families that has changed the world's history... in different ways :-( ). Amy, Dan and Nellie get involved in lethal situations, for example getting trapped or getting lost in the darkest chambers of the catacombs! Here is the link to The 39 clues website: The 39 Clues
If you get an account on the 39 clues website I can give you my agent card!
